Katherine Lyle graduated from James Madison University in 2016 earning her degree in Theatre & Dance with a concentration in Musical Theatre. She worked as a Barter and Encore Player at Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA, from 2016-2018 where she toured theatre to some of the most underprivileged areas of the country. She began work as a Resident Company member of Barter Theatre in the fall of 2018.

Some of her favorite roles include Ulysses in Troilus & Cressida, Belle in A Christmas Carol, and Anne in La Cage Aux Folles. 

 

In September of 2021, Katherine moved to London with her partner and started studying for her Master's in Classical Acting at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. She graduated in September of 2022.

A competitive equestrian since the age of seven, Katherine and her mare, Belle, have been a hunter/jumper team for just over ten years. Katherine is also an avid reader, playwright, and mother to two very soft cats named Franklin and Faye.
